High Winds
Summer storms caused a tree fell onto the roof of this home. The roof damage resulted in ensuing water damage to the interior of the residence. Several rooms were involved including the attic space. The before photo does not show the extent of the water damage, the ceiling was removed due to the amount of water that prevented any attempt to save the drywall ceiling. The personal property in the bedroom was packed up and out, then containment was put in place. The removal of the affected building materials started and once the ceiling fan, ceiling and insulation were removed the hole in the roof was visible from the bedroom. Temporary repairs to the roof were done to prevent further damage.
